Privacy Statement

By filling out the first page of our eCreditCare sign-up process, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collect Personally Identifiable Information at the time of enrollment, including full name, date of birth, email and physical address and telephone number. This basic information is required if you wish to enroll in our service.
We may keep all information collected in accordance with this Privacy Policy indefinitely.
Please be aware that we may amend this policy at our sole discretion, you can check back to view changes at anytime by visiting the site http://www.eCreditCare.com/ and clicking on the privacy button on the bottom.

Personally Identifiable Information:

Personally Identifiable Information refers to any information that can be used to identify you as an individual in any way. Enrollment in the eCreditCare service is contingent upon your agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of membership and providing basic registration information, including but not limited to: full name, date of birth, email and physical address and telephone number.

Restricted Personally Identifiable Information:

In addition, we collect information required to provide the eCreditCare service, such as your social security number and credit card information. Unless we obtain prior consent your social security number and credit card information, as well as specific account information from your credit report, is only provided to third parties for the purpose of ordering your credit report and billing. . Your social security and credit card information are used for the sole purpose of providing the eCreditCare service. Therefore, for purposes of this description of our privacy policy, your social security number and credit card information are considered Restricted Personally Identifiable Information and are absolutely confidential. We reserve the right to release all information to local, state, or federal law enforcement officials when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, or when required to do so by order of a Court or authorized administrative agency.

Anti-SPAM Policy:

The eCreditCare marketing program (the "Program") is an opt-in system with a strict policy regarding unsolicited email. Because email is an integral part of our services, your signup ensures that you'll receive information relative to your interests at the time of your enrollment, from both "the Program" and its partners. If you later wish to cease participation in this portion of our services, you may do so at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button.

Please note that opting not to receive email does not exempt you from receiving administrative emails, which include but are not limited to, notices about vital program and membership status changes, alterations to our Terms and Conditions, and important information regarding your credit reports and your use and access to eCreditCare services

Aggregate Data:

We may, from time to time, contact you regarding opportunities that may be of interest to you. In that process, we may use a third party service provider to manage our data base and communication system on order to send that correspondence to you on our behalf. If you respond to a communication to take advantage of an offer you may see or receive, you share your Personally Identifiable Information with a third party. From time to time, we do share non-personally identifiable information collected in aggregate (or grouped), anonymous form with third parties so that they may better evaluate what products and services are most appealing to different segments of our member base.

Automatically Collected Information: Via Cookies, Web Beacons, Pixels, Etc…

When you log on to our website, the server may automatically recognize you by an encrypted Member Key, also referred to as a "cookie." This cookie acts as a unique identifier.

We may use third party cookies and clear pixel GIF's (also referred to as "web beacons") to measure page views and email responses. These devices allow us to identify unique visitors to our site and act as a counter for ongoing monitoring of site, email and corresponding future transaction activity related to a specific offer.

Web Beacons (aka clear Pixel GIF's, or "web bugs") are a relatively new tracking technology that, in concert with cookies, can be used for tracking and recording all kinds of behavior across web sites. Because they are generally only 1x1 pixels in size (about the size of a pin point), they are invisible to you. We may use web beacons to monitor page views as a counter within our site.

Co-Brands:

eCreditCare Members sometimes join through partner, or "co-branded," sites in order to take advantage of the services of both programs. In these limited situations, a co-brand Member's Personally Identifiable Information collected at enrollment is shared with the participating site so that they can provide the desired benefits of their program as well. We have no control over how such partners use or store the information collected. You are urged to review the Partner’s privacy statements for more information.

Data Verification and Supplementation:

Data verification involves the use of a third-party data processing service to standardize and validate the enrollment information you provided so that it is easily identified and accessed by our database. Data supplementation involves appending any publicly available information about you to your personal profile.

Data verification is also used in an effort to protect eCreditCare members from fraud, potential identity theft, and illegal access.

In order to provide you with the most rewarding experience, we may send your non-personally identifiable information to data processors so that they can validate and standardize your address to ensure that it is accurate and up-to-date. We may also seek out information about you that is publicly available and overlay this data with ours for comparison purposes. Information collected in this manner could include your spending habits from a mail-order catalogue, demographic information you provided in entering a sweepstakes, or your financial history.

Third-Party Data Processors:

We may use trusted third parties to collect, process and store your Personally Identifiable Information. These third parties, including contractors, sub-contractors and partners, are contractually bound to preserve the confidentiality of your information and can use Personally Identifiable Information only for the sole purpose of providing services to us or you. These third parties are not advertisers, and cannot use any Personally Identifiable Information to advertise their products or services in any way. Again, they work for us to help us manage our data base and effectively communicate with our members.

Third-Party Websites:

While we make every effort to ensure that our advertisers post Privacy Policies and observe appropriate data practices, we are not responsible or liable for the content or data practices of any third-party site, including those of our advertisers, affiliates, partners, or vendors. We recommend that you read the privacy policy of all third-party sites carefully before sharing your Personally Identifiable Information with them.

Occasionally, you may be offered the opportunity to participate in an offer or service that, by its very terms, will require us to forward your Personally Identifiable Information to the advertiser or partner so that they can provide the service to you. This may include mailing address for delivery of orders and gift certificates or, if you join our program or service through a partner, or "co-branded" site, your basic enrollment information. As always, it is your choice to participate.
We do not guarantee the content or information practices of any third-party site. You alone are responsible for determining the appropriateness of sharing your Personally Identifiable Information with our advertisers.

Communication

We are available to you during normal business hours to answer any privacy-related questions or concerns you might have. Simply send an email to us at support@eCreditCare.com, and we will respond in a timely manner.

Our marketing program is an Opt-In service. You may enter and exit our marketing and service programs at any time and for any length of time.

You sign up for our marketing program when you submit the information on the first page of our sign-up process, and we or our marketing partners may contact you via email with offers we think you will like. We have a strict Anti-SPAM policy, and you may unsubscribe at any time while still participating in our services.

Members and Program Participants may also receive offers via telephone, voice message, text message, or postal mail. We contact you with offers we think you will like. Members may opt-out of either or both of these communication channels by sending a request to the unsubscribe landing page.
We also contact you via email or by phone for administrative purposes, such as Program change notifications, updates, etc. While you can elect to stop receiving email through our marketing program (as described above), you cannot unsubscribe from these administrative only (i.e. non-marketing) messages while enrolled in the eCreditCare service.

Our Member Services department may contact you in response to an inquiry you submit. Member Services may also contact you with regard to a particular problem that may have occurred with your account, as part of providing our service, or with an offer in which you may have participated. We may use this information to learn more about your participation in the Program and make it more relevant to your interests.

We do not collect or use any information about you for marketing purposes, except for information that you have provided to us or authorize us to obtain, or is publicly available, and this information is used solely to make our programs and services more relevant to your interests.

Security:

eCreditCare has established company-wide security practices for your protection. These practices include, but are not limited to, firewall security, the use of appropriate encryption technology, and the use of multiple levels of password security to limit access to data on a "need to know" basis. All employees are required to familiarize themselves with, and abide by, these safeguards. Our security practices are continually reviewed and upgraded to provide adequate protection of our membership information. We maintain rigorous Security Practices to ensure as much as is commercially reasonable that the confidentiality of your Personally Identifiable Information is not compromised. We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security for any credit card purchases made through participation in our program.

Despite our efforts, we cannot be held responsible for malicious intrusion or “hacking” that might penetrate our security system, as an internet user you agree and understand that this danger is a part of the world wide web’s “assumed risks” and you understand that we cannot be held responsible if any of your or our confidential information is compromised, nor can you hold us liable for any resulting loss or inconvenience.

We do not accept enrollment from persons under the age of eighteen. As provided in the Terms and Conditions, our programs are available only to persons who are eighteen years of age and over. The site will automatically block enrollment of any person once they indicate they are under the age of eighteen. If we later learn that a user is under the age of eighteen, we will terminate the account and delete the user's information. Inherent in the Program is the responsibility of parents and/or guardians to ensure that their children's privacy is protected. We will not be liable for any content or advertisements viewed by minor children in violation of the terms of this agreement.
